2023 Badger Football Thread

It's nice seeing a guy who comes from the middle of Wisconsin get a shot in coaching. They seem to do real well. Having lived in Waupaca for a time, I have a warm spot for Iola, and the car show.

Edit: Actually lived in King. On the Chain-O-Lakes.

Sounds like the Badgers got a commitment from portal TE Jackson McGohan who played for LSU last year, Seems like more of a pass catching/split out TE than an in-line blocking type. Not a burner, but fast enough to stress a defense making him a nice addition.
He was committed to Cincy but left after Fickell left.

I liked Johnson. He did a fairly good job. To be honest, I think they're looking for more across the front, and they didn't see him as having that growth next year. It's better to bring someone in who can develop into something special.

Willor could end up being one heck of a catch. This kid is big, strong, and takes no prisoners. I can see him getting stronger before the season starts, and ending up getting some serious playing time. He could end up even starting for part of his first year in school. This isn't a total fix for the defensive but it will sure be a big help.
