How bad is the Badgers 2023 class? 24/7 ranks the Badgers 13th out of 14 Big Ten Teams. Also for 2023 Badgers only have 1 kid from the state of WI. Pretty sad when you can't even get kids from in state.

Actually not upset about that, our skills folks are lacking in the speed dept, and your just not going to find them in WI. Unfortunately, Madison is a tough sell to out-of-state prospects for a variety of reasons.

And the way recruiting “rankings “ are done it’s more for click bait than anything else.

And UW is 48th nationally ahead of Texas A&M and Auburn at this point. It’s nice message board fodder but it’s somewhat meaningless at this point. How rankings are “developed” is somewhat comical anyway

Still near 50th in nation is not a good sign means you will always be a team that is middle of the pack in your conf.

And if you trust how recruiting rankings are developed fine, personally they are flawed for multiple reasons

And the majority of OL recruits prior to the last 4-5 years were not 4-5 star kids either. Mostly 3. Remember Jon Taylor was a 3 star kid when he committed. Stars are so damn subjective
