Packers 2023-24 Season Thread

Pretty much what it appeared it would be for a couple of weeks now. The only thing that they tinkered with is the LS issue.

Using the IR bit for tomorrow, to protect a player, makes sense to me. Now, who is going on that 4 or more game IR list? Could be a couple of key players if I read this right.

Four CB is kinda wild. I really don't get keeping Newman at this point. I don't see him as even serviceable at any OL spot, and ofc there's no real ST value in an eleventh lineman (I mean yeah sure, gotta have guys on the OL for punts/FGs, but c'mon).

It sucks that Moore got hurt because I liked him way more than anyone else we have at S other than Ford. Sure, he could return, but I don't remember us actually bringing back a guy we let go with an injury settlement, so I am counting him out 'til further notice. Owens is trash IMO but hey, cool that Simone Biles will be a Packer fan for a bit longer.
 
Keeping 5 ILBs when only 3 can play LB and 5 safeties when only 3 can play S definitely shores up the "are we keeping enough STers" debate in my eyes.

Also, we already know Tenuta goes to IR and the long-snapper comes back, so we should consider this 10 OL not 11.

But still shocked Newman made the cut over some of the trickier decisions around the roster.

And I understand the roster is fluid so Newman could get cut if we bring in another vet at Guard.

It is just weird to me that you kept 11 OL and 50% of them are Tackles.
