Yes, Could also take money from 2026 and move it to 2025. That might be the best option to please him as you pay him a little extra this year while not adding any more money or years to his contract.

I think that might be the bone GB throws him to try to make him happy. GB does have leverage as in I don't think he's getting a contract ext with years and money added.
