Yeah, the part that's actually cool is the one that's inaccessible for fans. GBP mentioned this the other day but I just think the league has standardized uniforms to such a degree and there's no room to push limits on length and fit, it's hard to pay homage to those older uniforms without them looking cheap.
 


Just for example, I think these were just long sleeved wool sweaters. Looks good as a long sleeved sweater, doesn't work as a short sleeved jersey.

i think they could actually do something very close to that though, because players are allowed to wear long sleeves under their jersey. so they could do long sleeve undershirts that match the color of the jerseys. it would definitely be unique to the packers.
