2021 Off Season Thread

It doesn't happen at the trade deadline.... it happens in the first round of last year's draft, rather than making the Love pick which cost you further in the draft as well you get another piece.
Exactly and you can debate if the draft would be the silver bullet with the piece to beat Tampa. Was CB even a thought in round 1 or 2 last year? No. And you can make a case that the real issue in the game was Kevin King and yeah the DC has a big chunk of blame there also

It will be interesting to see what the Packers do with pushing money forward in contracts.
Who?
How much?
Will they be able to sign any of their own FA’s, and if so, who?
Would they target a non-Packer FA?
If so, what position, and who?
I’d like to see Corey Linsley extended if possible, but he’s the only high priority Packer I have at this time.

IMO, the only position outside the their own FA’s I might consider targeting would be WR.
Why? Because drafting a WR (other than a top 20 player) isn’t going to get you the production you need until year 2 or 3.
But signing a WR in FA could give you that immediate production of a player opposite Adams.
But I don’t want to break the bank either, since there exists a financial crunch in 2021.
So here’s a few suggestions to consider, and please add the choices you would consider, and why.
My choices are based on what I think they will be worth in FA market, and I’m thinking mid-tier to low mid-tier market value.
Somewhere in the $5M to $7M AAV range.

UFA’s:
Kendrick Bourne/SF
Demarcus Robinson/KC
Nelson Agholor/LV
Chris Godwin/TB
Josh Reynolds/LAR

RFA:
Chad Beebe /MN

Cheers!

The Philadelphia Eagles are expected to trade Carson Wentz in the coming days in what would be the latest blockbuster quarterback deal to rock the NFL, league sources tell ESPN.
The most pertinent questions now become where, when and for what. But it could happen as early as this week, per league sources, even as the Eagles continue to insist to other teams that they would be happy to bring Wentz back to Philadelphia.
The Eagles are said to be looking for, in the words of one well-placed source, “a Matthew Stafford package” in return for Wentz

The chances of spending for a FA WR is slim and none

So possible best fits for Aaron Jones outside of GB? I think it will be a team that see's itself as playoff contender right now to pay him. That being said these teams maybe

Buffalo, Miami, Chicago, and Seattle I think could all have interest in him.

Miami was mentioned in an article a couple of weeks ago, Chi has Montgomery
