Post Game Thread: GB defeats TN 40-14

That’s fair but the flaws are not that bad.
We can agree to disagree. Multiple flaws on defense that could bite you, special team and lack to a WR option while not a red flag could get exposed in playoffs

This was the most complete game we've played this year, on both sides of the ball. We can call it anything we want, but a few things were evident on the field.

The Packers can play defense, and can stop an RB considered unstoppable, and they can still play pass defense while doing it. Especially if the opposition came into the game with little to no imagination about throwing short routes, over the middle.

No matter how we look at who did what on offense, the reality is, Rodgers is damned good, and the 4 TDs show it. He just plain gets it done so often that he's in the cat-bird seat for the MVP, as I said he was, several weeks ago. You can see it in everything he does on the field. Last night, if you watched his feet, you saw a QB who knows how to maintain total balance and make accurate throws, despite the field conditions under him. It's what he does best under worst conditions. I hope to see the same thing, every game leading to the Super Bowl. Some things do make home field advantage work. That snow and cold was perfect. We need to do snow dances before each game.

Dillon is a horse. It's going to make it easier losing Jones, and keeping Tonyan. It would be a real luxury if for some reason we could hang onto both.

Credit to Pettine and his staff. They did a great job dismantling the Titans running threat, and kept plenty of pressure on their QB to insure our CBs weren't getting burned, playing man coverage. I have a hunch that the way they've been playing recently, and if they do well in the playoffs, we'll be seeing him around for at least one more year. Maybe more. Whatever he gave the front 7 as a motivational speech obviously hit home with a lot of guys.

Just win the damn game and don’t worry about records.
These guys think about them. Look at Rodgers going into 400 the players were talking about it and keeping the ball. I think both Rodgers and Adams will know how close he is.

i think some people enjoy pointing out the negatives. there's really nothing wrong with that. but it must take some of the enjoyment out of a fun team win like yesterday's game. for me personally, that was one of the most fun games to watch this season. although there have been several.

beating the vikings 43-34 in the opener
beating the lions 42-21
beating the bears 41-25
beating the niners 34-17

i'm happy with how the team has played this year in general. the defense seems to be hitting its peak at the right time. there are only two teams in the nfl that are 5-0 in their last five games. packers and chiefs.

And for the Chiefs it’s been a struggle. They haven’t had a double digit win in the last 7 or 8 games. Yesterday vs ATL they looked bad.

Just win the damn ball game

I enjoyed the game. Seeing a negative does not move my enjoyment level one way or another. I enjoy sports for what they are, entertainment. The good and the bad

Something I'd like to add about the Packers offense. Everyone does realize we score more points than any other team in the league. KC is second, despite all the hoopla. To put it bluntly, the Packers are a freaking scoring machine when they get it on track.
